Pennington Borough, NJ 08534 - 10/6/21 Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash with Elderly Pedestrian

Pennington Borough Police were dispatched to the intersection of West Delaware Avenue and Route 31 on October 6, 2021. Upon arrival, officers found a single axel commercial box truck had struck and killed an elderly female pedestrian. The police investigation revealed that while the elderly female pedestrian was attempting to cross Route 31 in the cross walk, she was struck by the truck, which was traveling north on Route 31. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
